My name is Glinda Baker. I earned my master’s degree from Concordia Glinda Baker University in River Forest, IL. I treat clients that are struggling with depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

Have you ever looked around and thought, “Everyone thinks I’m doing okay, but inside I’m exhausted/struggling”? Maybe you’re carrying the weight of guilt, battling negative self-talk, questioning your worth, or finding it difficult to set healthy boundaries without feeling selfish. Perhaps you’re navigating a major life transition or simply feeling stuck and unsure of your next step. If any of this resonates with you, know that you don’t have to carry it alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and life experiences that have shaped your journey while building practical tools that empower you to move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and peace. I strive to meet you where you are with compassion and understanding.

Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with the person you are beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and pressure of everyday life. I honor each client’s values, beliefs, culture, and lived experiences, and I welcome conversations about faith when they are meaningful to your healing journey.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based, drawing from evidence-based to tailor treatment to your individual needs. Healing happens one conversation, one insight, and one courageous step at a time. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you on that journey.
