Hi

I’m Jessica Kuhnen, a licensed clinical social worker and the owner of Hyde Park Center for Healing LLC. I support clients navigating grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex trauma. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to understand your experiences and move toward healing.

About Jessica Kuhnen

Losing someone you love or living through something traumatic can leave you feeling stuck while the rest of the world keeps moving. It may feel like the pain will never ease. When you’ve experienced one overwhelming event—or many over time—managing your emotions, handling daily tasks, or maintaining relationships can become incredibly difficult.

Grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma affect both the brain and body. Together, we will explore how your nervous system has responded and how those patterns have shaped your experiences. You may notice changes in appetite, difficulty sleeping, constant exhaustion, or feeling on edge. I will help you learn tools to regulate your emotions and support your body’s natural healing process.

My approach includes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and mindfulness techniques. We will work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that fits your needs. Most importantly, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and valued.
