Biography

My name is Brittney Walker, LCSW. I work with adolescents and adults on various mental health concerns. I provide clients with ADHD therapy, Anxiety therapy, Depression therapy, and Grief counseling. I find that life can feel debilitating when your world feels disorganized, unmanageable, and out of control. Noone should feel defeated by the daily tasks of life.

Living with ADHD might feel like fighting a constant battle of distractions, overstimulation, and impulsivity. ADHD impacts your brain’s executive functioning and can lead to you feeling a constant state of panic, worry and sadness. As a therapist, my goal is to help you transition from “surviving” to “thriving.” Together we can work towards creating a feasible routine that promotes a healthy and optimum lifestyle.

I am invested in taking a more integrative and holistic approach to mental health and operate from a trauma-informed lens. I have been described in the past as “The calm during the storm.” I believe that my zen personality gives clients an open invitation to be vulnerable while finding their inner strength. I pride myself on creating a safe space for my clients to be heard and to heal. I enjoy using a variety of different modalities to find out what works best for others as there is no “one-size-fits-all” to therapy. Let me help you learn how to dance in the rain. I offer free phone consultations, so feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
